Requests route on the ZIP you give us, not on a boundary line.
You are on the list.
No provider in Irvine is taking requests through this service yet. We are lining them up, and yours is kept until one can.
- Nobody gets your details yet. Your request stays with us and is not passed to any company.
- One email when someone can help. When a provider covering your area can take it on, we email you once and ask whether you want that company, by name, to contact you.
- Deleted after 90 days. If nobody can take it on, or you do not say yes, your contact details are deleted 90 days after your request.
- You decide, or you do not. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to pay us.
Nobody will call you about this request unless you say yes to a company by name.
Roof problems do not respect neighbourhood lines either, which is why the quiz asks about the roof rather than the address first.
Behind it: morning fog that sits on the roof until mid-morning. The north side of a house here ages years faster than the south side, and almost every roof gets replaced because of it.
Most asked for around here: metal roofing
The metal itself almost never fails. The fasteners, the panel movement and the detailing at the edges are what decide how the roof ages.
Questions
It is leaking right now. What do I do?
Contain the water, photograph everything, and get the request in marked as an emergency. A tarp is the right first job. The permanent repair is a separate conversation and a separate price.
Are you a roofing company?
No. Old Mill Roofing Co. is a free matching service. We do not hold a roofing licence, we do not employ crews, and we never come to your house. We pass your request to independent local contractors who do the work and who you hire directly.
How quickly will someone call?
Usually within the hour during working hours. If you marked the job as an emergency it goes to the front of the queue and is normally picked up faster than that.
